Let me introduce you to ‘My Journal’. Many of you know that I have used a journal app daily for years. I have a simple template that allows me to spend two minutes morning and evening, setting intentions, reflecting and being grateful. I genuinely think it helps me have better, more intentional days and find lightness even through difficult times.
That said, I missed the ability to write more long form when I wanted to (typing on a phone is so annoying) and the app I used wasn’t supported on macs or laptops. So I figured, we’re in the age of AI, maybe I can build one!
Turns out, I can, and this is the result: a simple, multi-platform (yes it syncs) PWA (that’s tech speak for ‘open on a browser, use it there or click the ‘add to home’ button from the browser menu on your phone and install it like an app) that lets you use all my journalling templates (including the ones I share with my clients) as well as customise them or make your own.
You can set reminders to journal (you’ll need it ‘installed’ for that), lock it with biometrics, track your stats (self-care habits, or ‘rate the day’), set an emoji for the day which shows in calendar view, use it in dark or light mode, and search across all your entries.
