The blog
thoughts from me to youIt’s not good enough to say I love you
It’s not good enough to say I love you, but not act like you do.
Sometimes the greatest acts of kindness are the ones we show ourselves, or the ones that don’t look like kindness on the outside.
Figuring it all out
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Honestly. It’s not a thing. Even the people who seem like they have it all figured out, don’t. They can’t predict or control the future anymore than you or I can, they just try to.
Falling apart gracefully
I have pages and pages of poems, pieces of writing…my heart and soul poured onto paper. Sitting gathering digital dust.
Showing up, or not
There are days when even the thought of showing up, of making progress, of doing the work….it just feels too much.
When the mountains you have to climb, and the lessons you’re supposed to learn: you would rather pack them away for another day.
Home is where the heart is
Home is where the heart is.
But what if your heart is scattered and lost to you – pieces of it left with people and places along your journey? What then?
Is home then everywhere, or nowhere?
What’s mine is yours
What’s mine is yours. What’s yours is mine.
If I’m feeling your pain, it’s because I have that same wound.
I’m right there with you, moving through it in my own way
A gulf of faith
And maybe there will always be this gulf of faith, between what seems possible, and what does not.
I am not here to be right
I am not here to be right. I am not here to make my version of the world better than yours.
I do not have to…
I do not have to….
