Whenever you feel activated, triggered, stressed or anxious, go instead and ask yourself, what feels most peaceful for me right now?

Sounds simple, but if you give yourself a chance to really ask yourself this question and listen for the answer, it will guide you back to you and your innate sense of peace.

Maybe that looks like calling a friend, maybe making a cup of tea, doing some breathing or going for a run. The answer may surprise you, but if it feels truly peaceful (alternatively the least fearful), it’s the way to go.
