Change requires energy. How we may judge it is irrelevant – all change requires extra energy. Change of routine, change of people, change of home or even intentions, goals and mindset.

Becoming cognisant of this, we can be gentle with ourselves as we move through the different seasons of our lives, honouring our processes and the time our bodies and minds need to adjust and catch up with our (often unrealistic) expectations of ourselves.

Invitation: do something to invite in rest today, even if it’s two minutes of closed eyes, deep breathing before you go to bed, with the intention of allowing your body and mind to rest and heal.
