This thing called life is not always easy, especially when you factor in balancing career, family, friends and making time for the things you enjoy.
Coaching is like having a personal trainer for your whole life. I’m not here to tell you what to do but instead I create a dedicated space for you to understand and explore what’s important to you, what resources (internal and external) you have available to you and how to move from where you are now to where you want to be.
I hone in on your blind spots and help you understand what has been holding you back until now, which you may have been completely unaware of, and hold you accountable in a powerful yet compassionate way so you actually achieve what you want to achieve, whatever that may be.
Having worked in family run businesses and huge multi-national corporations in my previous roles in HR and Operations Management, before re-training as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and coach (see my credentials here) I bring my experience of working in and with a huge variety of people from all walks of life.
I now work with companies, individuals and teams to support you in where you want to go. We cannot separate our work from our lives ‘outside’ work so finding balance and fulfilment across the board is key to both personal and professional success.
How it works
We meet weekly or fortnightly online for 50mins each time to get present and check in. We start by honing in on a overall focus for our work, whether that be getting your next promotion, improving your relationship or feeling more peaceful within yourself. Whilst some of these goals may initially feel surface-level, we go deep to make sure you’re really clear on your motivations and what is driving you – how you want to feel and why you think this goal is going to help you feel that way.
Then each session, we discuss what’s working, what isn’t, what’s present and what needs to change. You decide what you’d like to commit to and why. Step by step, we remove overwhelm and create forward-movement towards the life of your dreams.

HOW DID OUR WORK HELP YOU IN GENERAL?
Our work helped me examine the motives for my anxiety and disarm them, either by disproving them or by learning better coping techniques; therefore lowering the general level of my anxiety. A huge benefit was having a safe space to speak my thoughts out loud. I tend to get stuck in my head with repetitive, often toxic thoughts and then I feel trapped because I feel horrible for having these thoughts, but can’t talk about them. Beyond just releasing those thoughts, hearing you question them and help me get to the root of them was amazing. Sometimes, a thought that had been plaguing me for months lost its power altogether. I have also been consistently improving in self-care in the past few months and I attribute that to our chats. You helped me see that taking care of myself was not only ok, but necessary to prevent burning out on everyone else.

You have such a calming voice and I could feel over the phone that you were listening and thinking through what I was saying. You never rushed to give easy conclusions, but had a gentle way of leading me to realize the fallacies in my thoughts. And you were personable. I liked talking to you and looked forward to our chats, even though I always ended up crying.
DID YOU HAVE ANY RESERVATIONS ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER?
I definitely had some fear about the things that would come out of my mouth. Some of the thoughts I had around my marriage and my family life felt like only a terrible person could feel that way, but you were so calm and non-judgmental that I soon started letting it all come out. It wasn’t just a “well, I don’t know this person, so who cares if she thinks I’m horrible,” but you really made me feel like it was ok to feel that way and that I could work to change that. This helped me shift the focus from beating myself up for having those thoughts and feelings to accepting them and working to move past them.
