I’m going to list below some of the books and audio I think might help you on your journey.

- Yoga Nidra Audio: Yoga Nidra Relaxation
This is the audio I used when doing my Yoga Nidra experiment. She’s Australian and has a lovely calming voice. Start with track one until you can do it comfortably whilst staying aware. Then move on. - Specific Yoga Techniques for stress, anxiety, depression and confidence: Meditation and Yoga in Psychotherapy: Techniques for Clinical Practice
This is a great resource – I’ve got highlights all over the place! It’s starts quite heavy with the scientific studies in to yoga and medicine but then is reasonably straight-forward but it’s helpful to have a basic understanding of yoga going in to it. - Basic yoga poses and pranayama: The Yoga Bible
I LOVE this book! I’ve got the 2003 edition but love dipping in to it to get inspiration in my practice. It also gives great instructions on how to get in to the more advanced postures. There’s also an awesome section at the back where you pick what issue you have e.g. low self-esteem and it gives you the specific postures and techniques which are good for that issues, along with page references!
