Well hey there!
I’m working on a few actual posts but my main thing today is to let you know that next weekend I am embarking on a trip that has taken me five years to plan.
FYI – I haven’t actually been planning for five years, in the regular sense of working out where to go, how much it’s going to cost etc. No. I’m pretty good at actual planning.
I spent the last five years mentally planning i.e. Summoning up the balls to actually book it.
Now that’s not something all that easy to admit for someone who helps people make decisions, but I think everything comes at the right time and, jees, this is EXACTLY the right time for me.
So I’m spending two weeks seeing an Ayurvedic doctor, eating proper food, doing yoga and meditating twice a day and getting massages.
I may or may not have access to the Internet. THIS IS SUPER SCARY FOR ME.
I don’t care if you think I’m sad for saying that. Perhaps I am. But since the Internet is a big part of my life it is a little scary to thing of life without it.
Nevertheless, I hope the next couple of weeks will be life changing for me so I’ll be writing lots in order to post when I next get online.
When was the last time you really pushed your comfort zone? Let me know in the comments – I’ve still got a week to respond before I fly off!!
How exciting Emma! Looking forward to reading up on your Indian adventure. I was very lucky to experience India about 10 years ago. Stayed in an Aurveda resort, and it changed my life massively. At the time I did not realise it but it planted the seeds for what is now.
I am longing to go back at some point in time. Have a wonderful time out there.
Hey
Thanks so much! I am super excited – also really glad to hear from someone else who’s had a similar experience.
I will post all about it so keep your eyes on the blog!
