⁷I do not know what anything, including this, means. ⁸And so I do not know how to respond to it. ⁹And I will not use my own past learning as the light to guide me now. (https://acim.org/acim/en/s/188#6:7-9 | T-14.XI.6:7-9)

If we respond to the world from what we’ve learned in the past, we are recreating the past in the present. We do this all the time, and it’s what our brains know to do as the best option for keeping us safe and learning about threats, but if we can recognise that we don’t actually know much at all in the grand scheme of things, we can learn to use our intuition (what feels peaceful) to guide us moment by moment, instead of the past.
